Herd of European Rabbit

Herd of Rabbits

First thing, I apologise for the lack of sharpness in the pictures. In fact, I do not know why I couldn’t get a pin-point focus on the rabbits. The other thing is it was getting dark already, shooting at Aperture mode of F8 caused the camera to select a pretty slow shutter speed. So I switched over to Manual and selected a shutter speed fast enough to freeze the moment. This in turn caused the picture to be underexposed. Was hoping to get some sharp pictures and then readjust the exposure during post-processing.

Well, that was just for the info. For those of you who tl;dr, do enjoy the photos below. ;)

Introduced to Australia in 1859 by Thomas Austin, this poor animal is now being considered a pest for damage caused to crops. In 1950, the Myxoma virus was deliberately introduced in an attempt to control the rabbit’s population which proved to be futile as some rabbits developed resistance against the virus.

Was hunting for this rabbit for 3 consecutive evenings. Finally succeeded on the last night. Totally worth it :)
